Join Us for Our Next Community Walk: St Martha’s Hill Loop
Join us for a community walk starting from Guildford High Street at the Surrey Scholar statue. We’ll head up toward Pewley Hill and across to St Martha’s Hill, taking in panoramic Surrey Hills views before descending through Chantry Wood and returning to town. Along the way, there’ll be plenty of time to chat, enjoy the scenery, and connect with fellow walkers, with some goodies supplied by Lumity to keep us going, before finishing with coffee and conversation at Frida’s Coffee House.

Route overview
Starting from Guildford High Street, we’ll head up towards Pewley Hill and across to St Martha’s Hill for panoramic views across the Surrey Hills. After reaching the summit, we’ll descend through Chantry Wood before returning to town. The route blends town, hills, meadow, woodland, and scenic viewpoints, finishing back in town at Frida Coffee House for coffee and conversation.
What to bring
Comfortable walking boots, weather-appropriate layers, snacks, and water. The route includes uneven paths and some steady climbs.
